I am Sathi devi

My name is Sathi Devi. I come from Kolthuruthy village, Kannur district. At the age of forty-three, I was cutting grass one day when an areca nut palm suddenly toppled on me, leaving me paralyzed from the waist down.Every kind of treatment failed. I was brought to the brink of despair. My dependence and humiliating helplessness drove me to try to end my life, but unsuccessfully. At this critical moment I happened to hear of Karunya Bhavan. Brother Mohan Nair travelled from there to see me and brought me here. During my stay here I came to know the living God and received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, with repentance and faith. Thus started my new life. Today, I am filled with the joy and peace which lets me face all the circumstances of my life with confidence. We live together in joyful trust as children of one Father.
