I come from one of the aboriginal tribes in Meppadi, Wayanad, one of the districts in Kerala. I was left paralyzed from the waist down after a fall from an areca-nut tree. Medical science could do nothing. I had no one to take care of me. In my anguish and despair, I took forty sleeping pills to end my life but even here I failed. Brother Mohan Nair heard about me. He came to see me and brought me to Karunya Bhavan. In the course of my stay here, I found Jesus Christ, the true God, and in repentance I started to live a new life through him. Living in Karunya Bhavan has changed my life and enabled us all to learn to cope with any situation.
